::: Sponsorship challenge for humanitarian projects
The Foundation is looking for donation partners (either from Moldova or
from abroad) to help collect about USD 10.000 necessary to meet the costs
of international transportation, testing and fixing of computer components
if defected during transportation to Moldova; purchasing accessories for
network installation in orphanages and schools for children with acoustic
and locomotor disabilities; as well as for general project administration.
::: Volunteers needed
To ensure proper performance of the computer aid projects, the Foundation
invites all volunteers to contribute during the summer of 2004. The people
will be engaged to load/unload the equipment provided by the British partners,
verify and adjust the equipment functionality that might have been defected
during transportation, examine and set up school and hospital local networks,
provide consulting to the beneficiaries of the Foundation, etc. People
with practical knowledge in handling hardware and software, including
high school and university students, can apply as assistants to these
projects. If you want to help us, please contact the Foundation administration.
::: Looking for children with acoustic and locomotor
disabilities
Compudava Foundation calls for assistance the Moldovan local bodies, head
masters, and those who can provide any information on disabled children.
If you know a child with an acoustic and locomotor disability, who is
intelligent and inquisitive; studies in a gymnasium, secondary school,
or high school; please send us short information about this pupil, address,
and contacts. The Foundation is committed to deliver to this child a computer
donated by the British partners to help him/her strike up an acquaintance
and find new friends.
