External Sponsors:- British Companies BUPA International and Digital Link International will deliver the computers;
- British Company Brains Direct Ltd will cover a part of the transportation expenses.
- In April 2004 the Senate of the Soros Foundation - Moldova offered $2.800 to cover a part of the transportation and administration expenses;
- Local software Company Compudava SRL will cover administrative expenses and a part of staff expenses.
The project aims at providing 200 computers to 20 secondary schools, orphanages, schools for disabled children (acoustic and locomotor) and 50 personal computers to 50 disabled children from the Republic of Moldova. The project has been written, discussed with the British partners and potential computer donors. At the moment, the Foundation is looking for sponsorship to cover the shipment costs to Moldova, the cost of necessary equipment for network creation in the schools (modems, hubs, cables, etc) and the costs of project administrative expenses in the Republic of Moldova.
